In the interview, Nyongo expressed her admiration for the film's understated approach to storytelling.

'There is an understated brilliance to the fact that we don't get a lot of backstory or exposition,' she said. 'We're just thrown into this family's world, and we have to learn about them as we go along.'

Nyongo also discussed the challenges of giving a 4-minute interview, which she described as 'a very different beast' from longer conversations.

'You have to be so concise and clear, and you have to get your point across in a really short amount of time,' she said. 'It's like trying to cram a whole movie into a single soundbite.'
